The Advanced Biotechnologies and Computing for Teaching and Learning Research Lab is a research group with a central focus on emerging technologies in life science and computing for next-century teaching and learning. We develop innovative activities that advance knowledge on how learning might evolve to spur engagement that is personally enriching and socially responsible—to impact all learners and principally those who are traditionally marginalized or who face persistent inequity.

We accomplish this using interdisciplinary perspectives in connection to the learning sciences, including such areas related to constructionism, literacy in science, and knowledge building.
